Recordá que nuestra zona de Preliberación es completamente cerrada al público, pues acá están en rehabilitación y crianza los animales que pronto regresarán al bosque y por tanto no deben acostumbrarse al contacto con las personas.
Actualmente en esta área tenemos algunos monos congos que ingresaron porque sus madres murieron electrocutadas, o fueron atacados por perros. Además tenemos un yaguarundi macho que vino desde Nosara. Ingresó con un problema en sus patas traseras que no le permitía utilizarlas.
¡Afortunadamente, después de varios meses de recuperación, ha mejorado muchísimo y esperamos pronto poder liberarlo al bosque!

Remember that our Pre-release area is completely closed to public, since here we have in rehabilitation and husbandry the animals that will go back to the forest, so they shouldn’t get used to human contact.
We currently have in this area some howler monkeys that arrived after their mothers died shocked by powerlines or attacked by dogs. We also have a male jaguarundi that arrived from Nosara. He arrived with a problem in his hind paws that didn’t allow him to use them. Fortunately, after some months of rehabilitation, he has improved a lot and we hope to release him back to the forest very early!
