The area of the Rescue Center is completely closed to public. Here we have our Veterinarian Clinic, Quarantine and the Pre-release Area. Here is where temporary remain the animals under rehabilitation and husbandry that will have a chance to go back to nature.
VETERINARIAN CLINIC AND QUARANTINE
When an animal arrives to our Rescue Center, our Veterinarian checks it at the Veterinarian Clinic and they usually need to remain some time at the Quarantine to get better. Thanks to the support of several organizations and visitors, last year we were able to enlarge our Veterinarian Clinic, which guarantees we can give the best medical attention to all our patients.
If the animal will be released, it remains in the Pre-release facilities, where it will learn to hunt, look for hiding spots, defend itself and fend for itself, in order to survive alone in nature once it goes back to its habitat. Here human contact is minimal, so the animal maintains its wild instinct. Sometimes we observe the animals by trail cameras.
